Our social responsibility

As a medical centre we recognise the important role we play in your community. We therefore take our social responsibility seriously.

We also recognise how the key issue of environmental sustainability is impacting on us all. We are are therefore taking positive action by:

- recycling our toner cartridges

- recycling all our non confidential paper, cardboard and plastic

- using as our pc's one of the most fuel-efficient brands on the market

- maintaining our patient education leaflets on-line

We are also working towards "Aiming for Excellence" - the RNZCGP Standard for New Zealand General Practice. This reviews the systems and processes required by practice teams to be able to deliver on the current health goals of improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.

The RNZCGP aims to support its members to provide general practice services as part of primary health care, to achieve improved health outcomes and reduced health inequalities in a safe, accessible, effective and sustainable manner.
